Description

Nikon 7900 image. This is possibly the smallest Green Anole I have ever seen, lol. He was less than an inch long from the tip of his tail to the end of his short little nose. He was stretched out on a leaf in the sun and was sound asleep when I first noticed him. I got one shot before he awoke and disappeared. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

He must be just newly hatched since his belly is so round. He hasn't had time to lose the baby fat from the richness of the egg. Excellent shot and amazing for such a tiny anole to be so clear and detailed.

To say he was asleep when you first saw him, he looks wide eyed and full of the joy's of spring now. I think that 25 acre's of your's is where the ark landed after the flood. You have more critters than enough. Another excellent image, that camera of yours works a treat. I would have put him as much larger, without your description. Bravo!!!!!

Wow, where do you live? I wish we had these walking around here. We get those slimy salamanders though; its the cloest we get to lizards lol anyway, this is a great shot.
