To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

As she waited for her mortal lover, the night passed, then weeks, months and years. She stood rooted to the spot, love letter in one hand, bouquet of roses in the other. She waited in vain, jealous dark faeries had slain him on his way. Slowly her toes dug into the Earth, she began to turn to wood, eventually she became the Rowan tree. Sorry momentary flight of fancy, your work is very evocative. BJ

I'm having a really hard time letting go of the image long enough to tell you how beautiful it is. There is just such mood to this .. waiting .. watching .. I feel compelled to sit and watch and wait with her .. Yippeee .. congrats on making the charts !!!
