Happy Middle of the Week to all. Back in March, Helle/Helanker posted a wonderful photo of a lovely place. I was so taken with it, I asked to paint it. Helle offered up a picture for me, and she painted several wonderful versions of this grand place as well. So Helle, here is your passage, finally done, a little wilder, a little later in year, a little later in the day. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed painting it and thank you! OHHHH MYYYYY !!!! This is SO lovely and I see, that I have MUUUCH to learn. This is so wonderful Jilly. I deeply LOVE it. That is exactly how I wanted my landscape should have looked like. DOH :))))))))))))) Thank you SO much for showing me how it also can be painted.. I am so thrilled. :))) HUGS Helle :)

With this evenings upload of a landscape with rolled hay by Helle, I remarked my desire to paint the scene some day and then to find you, Jillian, have collaboraed on a photograph of Helle delights me greatly. You certainly have captured the scene from a geographical point and then given it an artistic interpretation by setting the mood and lighting to reflect what you felt about the scene. Your work feels like an old master in the modern style but rather refined plein air school. It also shows a much different side to your past work of abstracts and that you are able to also work in the more traditional manner. Congradulations. This on is going to my favorites. Is this done with AR? Or is it oils or watercolors/paper? Doesn't really matter, no matter what the medium, it's wonderful, and I would just love to be IN there walking along that path, a fave, for sure!

Just love this - it's so warm and inviting and the colors, especially with the splashes of blue, are really stunning. Makes me think of Autum that is on the way. A lovely dedi and artwork. CC

Fantastic artwork! I love the way the light flows towards the centre horizon, along with the flowing brushstrokes. The light and colour in this is really beautiful. I could look at it for ages:)
