Happy Middle of the Week to all. Back in March, Helle/Helanker posted a wonderful photo of a lovely place. I was so taken with it, I asked to paint it. Helle offered up a picture for me, and she painted several wonderful versions of this grand place as well. So Helle, here is your passage, finally done, a little wilder, a little later in year, a little later in the day. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed painting it and thank you! .....quite lighter in tone and mood than the majority of your work --- it's fun to set up Helanker's photo on one tab - yours on another - and switch back and forth -- has the feel of an old painting from the past --would love to see a print of it..... makes me feel good ...you are a very flexible and adventurous painter ... can't imagine where you'll take us next.
