Heartrending, an absolutely beautiful picture. I have on my keychain a replica of an old 60's poster that says, "War is not healthy for children and other living things". This photo says all that and so much more.

You know, I must congratulate you not only on a beautiful, expressive and emotion-stirring photograph, but also on being able to capture a photograph like this. I think that on many occasions, at least in the media, war has been glorified...or if not that, than it has been depicted in very grotesque forms--- I think that this image really depicts the war from a different perspective--that of a child(ren). I think your image is touching and really brings this issue to focus, and what it really is about. Sometimes many people, unfortunately lose track of what goes on BEHIND the frontlines. Beautifully done, 5++!
