My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Well, Tara, you took something plain and pedestrian to you and turned it into something definitely eye worthy (is that a real term?) :o)...I think you did a fabulous job...love the horse and that sculpture rocks...sooo well done here !!! ~ Hugs ~

This is brilliant Tara, and a great idea for a challenge! Love the effect the stairs have on the collage especially. Great shots.

You stepped up to the challenge! I have been carrying around a one-use camera for a week now! Inspiration has not yet struck. Good job here!

That's a great challenge and you did a super job. It's given me a real clear idea of where you live and it's beautifully presented.

Holy Crow, Batman! You have my camera only I have the Z6. And you did really good with this! They are all good. I didn't enter and now I wish I had. Great shots!

Awesome!!!! Really fantastic!!!

Brilliantly done! Another option would have been to let the lab put the photos on a disc for you. Before reading your comments I said to myself that the quality was superb for a one shot camera, hahah. Still, you stuck by the rules and got some great shots. I'm quite impressed you made your mall look so good. Very nice "place" and "architecture/sculpture" shots. I guess we have the same restaurnt here in FL because I have one of those horse statues near me too! ;'] ADDED TO CHALLENGE PAGE

Fine POVs, colors, lighting and detail in these captures, Tara, but what is with the strange banded textural effects? If your goal was for an abstract effect then this is quite effective. And how are you able to get so many photos in one presentation and still stay within the size restrictions?
Ionel
Very nice works!!!

because you live there.if a visitor came they would see many things.unless someone lives in a really scenic area, they tend to go blind to their surroundings

fantastic shots all!

.......that's an assignment I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy -- attempt to make a shopping mall look interesting .... didn't think it could be done --but , Tara -- you not only have guts -- but you've aquitted yourself quite well here !.....god knows , I couldn't do it.

"Sheesh! All we have is a mall - how dull is THAT?" What you have is all what you need to make life simple and happy. Think of all the concrete buildings in the big city...lol I would love it in your home town. Excellent. Aloha
