Description
Captured 7/14/07 around 7:20 AM, about a mile or so from my abode.
A real special treat for you this time...not only do you get two dahlias for the price of one in this shot, but they are of the Phyllis Diller Wild Hair variety, plus there are also some of my world acclaimed daisies displayed in their original form, this time in a minor role.
And, again, this photo was taken on the dark side of the street, which required some considerable postwork tweaking to bring the main subject matter out of the shadows and brighten without losing the color, detail and texture qualities.
Have a terrific Thursday!

Did you know Phyllis Diller turned 90 in July? (I just looked it up.) That is one funny lady! I hadn't thought of dahlias in connection with Ms. Diller, but I will never miss that connection again! These are wonderful, and I really DO feel like I've got my money's worth, especially with the exciting daisies in a supporting role. Excellent work!
