Description

One last shot from the top of Mt St Helens. This is looking east toward Mt Adams, about 30 miles away. This is probably the best view I got into the crater, and it's not much LOL. But it does show a bit of what the rim and the crater look like. Now on to some shots with some green in them, maybe even a waterfall or two. :-)

Well, I'll be. I had no idea it looked like that! How interesting! I imagined more debris, more rocks just lying around. Thinking about it, though, I bet everything that isn't nailed down just rattles around, blows away, or falls back in! Amazing shot. Thanks!

What a great shot Dennis. I, too, had no idea that the crater looked like this. It is really fascinating to see it so close. You really saw it up close and personal. Great job!!

You are braver than I am. :~) I didn't think it would look like this either. Don't know what I expected, exactly..... Great shot anyway.
