I really like the background! If this is a concept piece of art for a CD cover do you have a "concept" brief you're working with? The only change I would think of "perhaps" making (from a strict capitalist advertising point of view) would be to increase the darkness of the shading for the copy of "bad to the bone" - basically to make the name stand out more to the buyer. Apart from my thoughts on the copy - I think the rest is absolutely awesome! It's tribal, symbolic and slightly unsettling. Great work.

Fantastic! Now, I have the song playing in my head. I love the bone/marrow image as it heightens the depth of the badness. Plus the marrow spreads the badness to the rest of the body. The person who is bad to the bone is all bad!!! Gorgeous colors and design. I think Denzil makes a good point about the shading, and keep the gradient of red, becoming darker the deeper into the marrow the badness goes. ;) I also like the typography here. For me this image has a deceptive beauty, enticing me. Very much like the 'bad to the bone person' does to the unsuspecting. Absolutely fabulous work with this concept, Hew! Hugs, Suzanne
