Description

This is just a little flower growing wild on the hillside at the Heights of Abraham. I do not know what it is called, I just thought it was a pretty flower,growing amongst the rocks and heathers. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make. Near to the top of yesterdays post was a large bole, that is the area, where two ladies said they saw the same as Rainbows saw. It was a Badger! I saw it myself when I stood back from the monitor, I also saw a sheep to the right of this. I was happy that a few of you took the time to have a browse and had to chuckle(laugh) at a couple of the answers. May the sun shine down on you where ever you are. Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful flower Jeff. It kinda looks like paper people! Or little angels. Now you got me looking for things again! Lol CC... I think if the shot was cropped a little, it would make focussing on the flower easier. As it is, I kinda look all over the place and get kinda frustrated that I can't work out what is what, so to speak. Only MHO of course!

Lovely flowers. Nice colors too. Is it an orchid? Whe have something here that we can buy as seed and it’s called a “boerenorchidee”. That means a” farmers flower” It looks like it, but I am no expert! :)

I agree with Mick, orchid family maybe, but things we so easily miss or take for granted, and cropped too tight would not have shown it in relation to its surroundings Good shot!

I have never gone with the crowd and my brain seems to work in a mysterious way so I would expect to see something different :-) This is a beautiful find and the pov is wonderful.
