Description
The Victoria Prospect Tower was completed in 1844. Built to take advantage of the panoramic views, it also provided work for the unemployed at the time, who used both ingenuity and local stone in it's construction.
It stands 12.2 meters(40ft) high and has 52 steps.
I thought about cropping this to get rid of the wheelchair, then I thought NO! it shows that disabled people can come here and enjoy the view, just as much as anybody else.
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to make.
May the sun shine down on you where ever you are.

Once again very informative read Jeff. Better shot than mine, I like how you have lncluded the people in the foreground to give a true account of height. It was a great view from the top of the Tower.

You did very well not to crop the wheelchair! It brings life and more information to the image! Excellently done, Jeff!!!

I have a friend I met on the Internet who had both knees replaced. She came to visit me twice after I dropped by her place on a return from my son's marriage. Sometimes she walks and sometimes the chair. I am always amamazed at how men learned to build things plumb from small objects like bricks and stones. I think it is memory driving the hand. Once upon a time figure skaters did "school figures" or identical form. I also saw that as memory. What others call perfection I call memory. It is the payoff in a zero person infinite sum game.
