Description

So this is from the jungle trip but it isnt an animal shot... I decided that waking up an hour before i was supposed to so i could watch the sun rise over the river would be worth it. The short answer was that it was definitely worth it. The long answer is a lot of photos of which this is probably the favourite. The next day i took another shot of the sunrise and it was completely different, i´m sure i´ll post it at some point so you can see. Anyway, not much explaining to do about this shot: it is what it is. (Madre de Dios "Mother of God" is the tributary of the amazon i was on btw) Enjoy! Rich

Excelent POV and a rising sun colors a water so wonderfully. Love the sharp details on a rounded rocks on a foreground.

I love the stones,reminds me of some rivers in Canada's Rockies,and of course you don't see them during the rainy season,I'm guessing...so very nice!
