I realized the other day that it was not "my grandmother in Portland" but the Bagwan with his Rollses on the commune that was my reason for visiting Oregon in 1983. I especially stopped in Medford and bought some Lincoln in stovepipe hat stamps. Maybe it was Tectronics that put me up to it. I bought gas in Doreen from a gas station that had just turned on it's lightss. The one I pulled into on fumes had just shut it's off. My son worked for NCD there as Tectronics faded into dumbness and HP disallowed blue in favor of beige.
