Description

Something a little different for me as it has the look and feel of an abstract. Not sure what this image is supposed to signify: I’ll leave that to your imaginations, but if you have any ideas, please let me know! The Dude makes an appearance once more in this. He’s by David Sandberg and is available for free from Turbosquid. He’s ‘clothed’ in my favourite copper material from the True Metals collection by Fathertime (sadly this is no longer available in the Marketplace). I made this image by first constructing a room made of mirrors and placing the camera inside. Add 50 randomly placed spheres (also mirrored), 50 randomly placed radial lights and The Dude and see what happens! The only real extra is the column of light from a parallel light beneath The Dude. With all those lights and considering its rendered using HDRI as well, it didn’t take long at all to render. Everything was constructed (or placed randomly!) in Bryce 6.1 with no postwork except the sig. I hope you enjoy this image: your comments are always much appreciated! (I’m on two weeks holiday, so will be a bit behind on my comments!)

This could be the macro universe or the micro universe. 40 billion galaxies or the number of atoms in a single drop of water, either way it is it an awesome creation of God.

This is my favorite of all your stuff. Very creative, and really well made. Something about it reminds me of Citizen Kane... the title suggests a lot of things. I'm tempted to wonder what it would look like if you had just the faintest evidence of DOF or radial blur. Awesome work anyway.

Very unique construct. Had tried a similar idea in Bryce 5.0, (Landscape, etc)"All Mirrored Up" - render time turned out to be a "let's not go there" :( LOL This design IS different from you, fer sure.

Somehow, somewhere, there is a real source for the mirrors. Random can be more patient than deterministic. There is, after all, expectation.
