Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

I'd say neither. i'd like to revisit this room in a few weeks when the grass has overgrown the place and the weeds have set in which is what would undoubtedly occur if this were my room. Bravo on the image!!!!!

Excellent concept and render. along the lines of sirion's comments, this might make the foundation of an animation of the grass's life cycle. This also reminds me of the work of the surrealist artist Magritte.

DLG I think that my mom had that carpet in the 70's. Thick, Green shag... but not quite so an appealing green.

LOL - great image! Sheep will keep it nice and trim for you - but they may fertilize a bit too much!

very surreal. I had recently been at the V&A in London at the Surreal Things show, and saw a piece about Le Corbusier's Beistegui apartment in Paris - hard to find images since it was destroyed in WW2 - but I came up with this, just for you frogdot! http://laissezfairedesign.blogspot.com/2007/08/break-rules.html great minds go in the same circles!

Hehe. Presumably, that's carpet we can see through the window? :)

LOL, what a fabulous idea, I think you seriously need a mower for this :)

My opinion is that only a chain-saw can help you. Nice work.

See, this is what happens when you track too much dirt into the house. Clever idea David.. Fun and great render. Bravo from Dave :^)

A lawnmower. Hair clippers would be just a tad tedious.

Wow. My carpet isn't nearly as green as yours. What brand of carpet fertilizer do you use? Gorgeous work on this. :)
