I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

A wonderful place to share.. and though provoking. I can't help but wonder if all those people buried there enjoyed that view, or indeed, still do.

You're right Diane, this friend of yours gives the whole composition a sense of sweet and meditative serenity, facing the horizon in the background and the silent sleep of the deceased in the foreground. Very beautiful and inspiring capture ! 5+++

Greetings my dear friend. I especially like the over all compositiion and being able to see the far off hillside that is so very British. I have a suggestion to make regarding the exposure. There are two things you can do the next time you are there, first be there earlier in the day when the sunlight is not so strong to create these drastic ranges between the highlights and shadow areas. The other would be to 'sun sync' your photograph. This is where you balance the exposure between sunlight and using your on-camera flash as fill light on the subject and the inside of the church. I hope this has helped. Please enjoy the week. Thank you for sharing. egmont
