Description

Waterton Lakes NP, Canada. This was a pretty little canyon, but I'm sure it would be really interesting during the spring thaw. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Would you look at that? This is very pretty and unusual. I'm glad you are able to go different places on your vacations cause I get to see so many pretty things. Thanks.

Hey very nice! I like the people being in there, gives you idea of sizing. Amazing the red rocks ....what is that long pole midway up the gully/stream? Looks like someone tried to pogo their way across L Beautiful view! TY for sharing!

Interesting colors of the river valley itself. There is so much beauty to venture in your land of walk. Excellent. Aloha

This is a fabulous vista! The mountains are powerful and towering while the creek below is mild and inviting. The browns of the earth, the greens of the foliage, the blues of the sky are a symphony of colors.

Oh I don't know... during the spring fall it would just be another rushing, tumbling stream, but this is seeing all the hidden and mysterious innards. I love the colors and I'm glad you placed those people to give us a bit of perspective :)

I agree with tresamie - the volume of water would be impressive, but being able to see the walls really makes this shot. What a fabulous view!

The colors in the canyon are beautiful, and the mountains in the background add to the beauty. What a wonderful place you discovered. Water rushing through would be pretty, but seeing it this was is also nice.
