This is great. Hopefully, at some point when I'm not swooning with worry for him, I will be able to go and take such pictures of my 11 year old grandson on his bike. For now, I tend to avert my eyes in fear at critical moments like this. Its difficult to take photographs if you can't look at your subject. :-) This is a wonderful action shot! Great postwork and presentation.

Wow, can barely see the splash for all the mud. Dramatic stuff! Terrific timing in this momentous capture, Chris. I like the way the head and shoulders appear above the splash. I assume someone and their bike got a good hosing down after that event.
