They look so intent on their objective! I understand that "V" formation is quite effective. :)

The Battle of Paris 2007, after the Battle of Largs 1263 ;o) . Seems only right, Anthony. My boys called me in for the re-run, after the goal was scored. Their keeper was lucky even to get a fingertip to the ball. Your shot shows suitably scarred shields, and focussed faces. Having undergone police riot training in the late 1970's, I found myself, at one point, in the middle of a 'shield wall', when the opposition gave up on the bricks and petrol bombs, as being ineffective, and changed their tactics. They hit the centre of the interlocked line, i.e. me, with a telegraph pole used as a battering ram. The long, polycarbonate shield held, but the beggars trampled all over me. My shield was scarred but I was, temporarily, unfocussed. Regards, John.
