Description

Nikon 7900 image. Here is another image of a Tree frog to go with yesterday's posting - (Amphibian). I cannot remember when I last saw one of these once common little critters but it has been a number of years, so I was pretty amazed that within the space of a day, I found two different ones. Not only that but they also demonstrated two of the three different color variations that are local varieties. Yesterday's was a mottled green. Today's is smooth green with a white stripe down each side and the third is smooth gray with a yellow strip down each side. Neither of the ones I found stayed around for long. I just got a couple of pics of them before each hopped into the underbrush and completely disappeared. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I have to giggle at this. Tree frogs are so oddly formed. They are perfect for their environment but so silly looking. The toes are marvelous! Great shot.

You seem at one with nature Lee and the critters sense this and respond to you. The number of little critters you have had in the palm on the finger right up close and in your face. I certainly take my hat off to you. The patience you have and the love and care you show is outstanding. Another great shot, as far as I am concerned anyhow. Photography at its best! Bravo!!!!! 5 is not enough!
