Hello to you all, I hope the week has gone well for you. This is a capture of Godstow Nunnery or what remains of it after Henty VIII split from Rome. Many thanks to all of you who took the time to comment and/or view my last image. A good week end to you all.

quite spectacular mark. brings new meaning to "get thee to the nunnery" for me. the image has a foreboding almost Gothic feel to it. awesome shot.

Great POV and DOF. Love the ominous setting in this shot of the sky and landscape. Was this one of the events that opened the gates for England to become the only Protestant nation in Europe at the time?
