To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

I have already settled it for myself so flattery

This one immediately reminded me of Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks! Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Whoo... whoo... whoo... Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo And the days go by... Like a strand in the wind... In the web that is my own... I begin again Said to my friend, baby... Nothin' else mattered He was no more... than a baby then Well he... seemed broken hearted... Something within him But the moment... that I first laid... Eyes... on... him... all alone... On the edge of... seventeen

"On his home planet of Xerbix 319, the Broken Heart Robot was one of the rare robots built without a purpose. Saddened by this, he fled Xerbix 319 and traveled the galaxy to seek out his purpose." 'Course another way of lookin' at this is that without having, first, experienced a broken heart, one would fail to appreciate the happiness of a complete heart. Well done dearest Mina. HUGS PS I like Aesop's quote about the greatest thieves ('n liars) floating to the top. Sorta like bad excrement in the loo. And the world goes on.

Sumptuous image Mina! Isn't that the face of a famous actress from bygone days up there at the top? Excellent image to loose oneself in.

She does look like Harlow, who certainly had a broken heart. I love this blue Mina, and there are so many details here, from faces, to leaves to candles. As Poe said "Nevermore". Hugs :)

Blue is the perfect color for her emotions, and her pain is part of the cosmos, that is still twinkling with hope and beauty. Gorgeous blending to create a very unique image and emotive message. CC

The different layers and the many elements make this a rich art work like an embroidery, weaving together your thoughts. Thank you for sharing. egmont
