Hello All!!
My daughter Nellie is turning 13 ... she has always been my angel and my little girl ( she is still very attached to her blue blankee thats she has had since a child and has been known to carry it around and sniff it like linus hehe ...)
.Out of my three girls, she is the soft sweet one who speaks quietly and is always well behaved.. ( top marks in school and i have always been proud of her )now she's turning into a teen . I'll be honest I have always been terrified of the teen years I hope I don't lose her kind and loving spirit... ( hides )))...oh no! lol!!
I heard that some girls stay sweet and kind even through the teen years I am praying for that!..
She loves anything fairys and I always show hthe wonderful the fairys renders on here and she adores them!! Dennis Reed has even sent her some beautiful prints in the real mail that she has hanging up in her room ( thanks Dennis!)
She dosn't ever wear this much make up lol only lipgloss - I wouldn't let her go to school with all that on no way !!..
This was a quick snap taken with my Canon Rebel in the bathroom when she was trying on some of my make up. I ran and grabbed my camera cause it freaked me out that she looked so grown up ...lol... anyways, just played with this real quickly here and decided it looked better in black and white ...

What an excellent portrait! The lighting is perfect and their poses are fantastic! Both girls are beautiful, and Nellie does look grown up with the makeup on! The teen years aren't that bad -- I had always heard they were awful. But, both my son and daughter were great kids. My daughter stayed sweet and now has her own daughter to raise. :^)

One year for Halloween, and when my eldest grand daughter lived with me, she was a genie. She had the gauzy outfit and then we put make up on her. She looked like a Little Person... A very mature, miniature adult lady! And she was only 5 years old. It was beautiful and unnerving at the same time. Your princess is indeed gorgeous and it may be a bumpy ride from her to adulthood, but I can see in her face a cherub and she will always have a warm heart.

Happy Birthday Nellie!! Kimmers, it is a little scary to see a thirteen year girl looking grown-up, I can understand your wishes for her to be your little sweetie still. But, admit...she is a beauty in your make-up!! Hope her teenage will pass without those "big scenes", but I smile a little when I think of my little princess Emma,growing up to a real Drama Queen, BIG ROLLER COSTER!!!
