Description

The Space Wolves, a Loyalist Legion during the Heresy. They were charged with the invasion of the Thousand Sons home world after the legion was deemed to be practicing forbidden magic (see the Thousand Sons render previously posted). The Space Wolves attacked overwhelmingly and at the climax of the battle the Thousand Sons Primarch made a dark deal with chaos, the resulting rift sucking the Thousands Sons into the Warp. The 13th company "Wolfkin" persued the escaping enemy into the heart of the warp, which closed behind them. In the 40,000 universe, the 13th company repeared after battling the forces of Chaos from withen the warp for the last ten thousand years (time passes differantly in the warp). The 13th Company continues to wear the orginal grey color of the Space Wolves with red wolf's heads on black shoulder pads, shown here. The rest of the Legion had after the Horus Heresy adopted a grey-blue armor color, with adorments in yellow. Cool idea I love the wolf tails ornament hanging from their guns. The shoulder pads colors design couple with the belts give them a real wild or jungle like feel to them.
