Description

Upload: 032 H Title: Ein wachsames Auge Series: Berkeley Telephone Poles Location: Berkeley, California Date: June 7, 2007 Image: N05066M1c Camera: Nikon D70, Full Frame Commentary: The translation for Ein wachsames Auge is A watchful eye, which I felt was very fitting here. Upon finding this little gem, I knew I needed to photograph it, the only thing was, I had to squeeze into a very tight space with my tripod, as a car had parked right up to the pole and I was not going to let it deter me from my goal. A number of photographs were taken with the loan of my friend Bruces macro lens and of all the different variations, this one remains my favorite and ranks as a One in a Thousand.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and commenting. Egmont

The fine textural detail you captured here is quite something. Your watchful eye is what made this image possible, and an open, creative mind. Thank you for sharing this.
