Description

Based on Gustave Dore's 1866 illustration work for John Milton's 'Paradise Lost', I thought it might be interesting to update the original into a more contemporary setting. Since I was referencing an existing artwork, I Initially planned this as a quickie of perhaps 3 hours, but 15 hours later I was still fooling around with it. I had problems with just about everything, posing, lighting, the clouds, the lithograph finish - I have to admit it was sheer frustration and determinaton that drove me on. Here's the original of Dore's work so you can compare the two versions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifer Started in DAZ/Studio then Bryce with a mountain of Photoshop work.
