I wish I could have sent some of my English rain for this plant, Nikolay!! In death it still has grace. Superb work, I love the texture and colour of the stone? background. Happy Hugs, Di. xx

This strikes me of a chronicle, a part of history, and my mind starts exploring the idea of 'adaptation'. What changes will occur with global warming? What adaptations will there be in nature? Thought provoking photography, Nikolay. Always excellent! Hugs, Suzanne

I have been thinking about how much the weather has changed over the past years. Last winter we had a heavy snow storm that did much damage in early October! Unheard of in these parts, where snow is seldom seen till late November, often not until December! Aside from the losses of not enough rain, this is a wonderful photo. One can find beauty if one looks.
