This is so much of a feast for the eyes, and it's also of a place I'd like to visit on multiple occasions. I have had a long and abiding interest in living in Moscow, and I know quite a few people there already, and so in a way, I am familiar with GUM, and occasionally get random shots of life in Russia, featuring writing in Russian Cyrillic, just to help me to practice my Russian...at least my reading skills. It's so much fun to see a gorgeous picture of a familiar place and realize that there ISN'T a language lesson consciously embedded in it. It's a great reminder of what is to come for me, and even more so, it's a fantastic work of photographic art.
