Description
I spent a several days in the Rocky Mountains National Park (Estes Park). Amazing landscape, wild life and plants. I thought I'll share a few of my photos. This herd of elks was siting peacefully in a woodland clearing. For some mysterious reason most of them looked in one direction, but I couldnt see what they saw beyond the clearing that was so fascinating. So all I can do is wonder - maybe it was a collective day-dream...

Only drove through Estes Park a few times ... but have been to Vail and lived in Wyoming for 25 years ... so I soooooo appreciate the photos you have here. These are great and capture an emotion, not just a moment and a sense of beauty, which it also possesses. +++++
