Description

You are so nice with me, you encourage me so much today I take you to visit one of the most fabulous places I the world! The heart of Lhassa, the Tibet and - for the Tibetans- the hearth of the world! Around Jhokang, the most important temple of Tibet, there is Bhakor, the traditional district. It´s an important place of pilgrimage. Many people dream all the life to came here. Many arrives walking, from the distant villages, others with knees. It is necessary to make the turn of Jhokang several times, prayng, in the sense of aiguille watch. The mood of faith incredible. All deep Tibet cross in front of you, people of all the areas of the country, with their typical cloths. Many of these people came to Lhassa for the first time in your life. For the photographers, tell : we turn in contrary sense of the other people. If not, we take only photos of back the people. back. I make this in many holy places. Is irregular, I require always autorisation. To who? To Boudah himself! He protect the photographers. I am the proof : - ) . You have nothing to do. Stay here, in front of the place and look around. All Tibet passed in front of you. Just open your eyes and hearts… UM AGRADECIMENTO E UMA HOMENAGEM ESPECIAL AO FLAVIO, AMIGO QUERIDO E PRINCIPAL INCENTIVADOR, JUNTO COM A MARCIA. SEM ELES EU NÃO ESTARIA AQUI... A SPECIAL THANKS AND TRIBUTE TO FLAVIO, DEAR FRIEND AND MAIN SUPORT, TOGETHER WITH MARCIA. WITHOUT THEM I WOULD NOT BE HERE…

I see lots of coats... It reminds me that there are different seasons in the world, I was blind to it until a few years ago. We in the States are leaving summer and soon to will be wearing coats. Your picture reminds me the cold days are coming. Nice Picture.

seeing the different cultures from your eyes and camera entices me to return to the Filipines. Tibet has always been a place of mystery and intrigue for the world, but your captures tend to enlighten the masses

I've always been taken by the colourfulness of traditional Tibet. From the crisp blue sky to the very primary colours of their clothing. Thanks for posting this.

People without money are not curious. They move in spritual circles or not at all. In Nepal rebellion would snuff the exchange. Let's stay here.
