Description
Travel in Tibet means accept all conditions of the Chinese government. It is necessary know about of 80% of the country is forbidden to foreigners
Generaly we can see that is around the Lhassa-Katmandou road. To have an idea, Tibet makes four times the size of France.
Even imposed by the Chinese, the visit´s program are not respected.
The monastery of Ganden, for example, or what remains of this holy place, devastates during the Cultural revolution, is frequentily “ cut” of the visit without more d´explanetions. Ganden is systhematicaly closed of the world because the monks reffusent to accept the “political rehabilitation” campaign, obligatory for the monks of all the country. Les “political commisarys had torn the images of Dalai LAMA and obliged the monks to sign documents insulting His Holines. There were deaths and much of young monks returned on their houses. es.
Here, the monastery of Sera, which we could see.
But I make a point of honor to speaking about those which nobody can see…

Wonderful image! I wonder, if like in Thailand, the young boys are forced into the monasteries either because their parents cannot afford to care for them?

Excellent capture and narrative, it is good that you tell us of these things we cannot see for ourselves. We know the some things happen all over the world and only come to light when somebody visits and witnesses these things. Bravo!!!!!
