Description

Just when you think autumn and winter are on their way, you get a little surprise.

After photographing tree leaves changing colour 2 weeks ago, last weekend I came across a large clump of daisies coverd in tortoisehell butterflies and this Red Admiral - it wouldn't open it's wings long enough for me to get a decent shot, so resorted to getting down low and sneaking shots of it feeding.

It looks happy anyway!

Cheers, Moz

Fantastic macro! I would love to be lying on a field and have this view up towards the sky right now. I long for spring. Take care!
