Description

Nikon 7900 image. Every time I go for a random walk, it is an adventure. I never know what critters I will find, nor what is happening with them. Sometimes they are resting. Sometimes they are eating. Most times they are just trying to avoid being eaten. Every now and then, they are making babies. Sometimes, I know where to find particular critters because I know where they live and sometimes I know which plants have what bugs. Such is the case with this image. Although I do not know exactly what species they belong to, I do know that in early June I will find a lot of these bugs in an area that has a particular form of ground foliage. They seem to gather there for the specific purpose of making babies. When that time of the year comes around, I can not help getting such pictures, lol. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Impressive shot (quite a human pose, lol) And a fab shot indeed. You have the patience to learn behaviours of different species to find them more easely, thats great, Unfortunatly I do not have your patience (and the time to learn) so I refere to synchronicity, encountings. This method works good... but halas not systematicaly. Wish you a nice day and thanks for sharing, G.

Caught in the act!...LOL!...perfect timing here! Your text is also very appropriate...since starting to shoot insect macros, I have become much more aware of insects and their habitat. It has become an eye opening experience!
