Sometimes it's like releasing pixels into an empty room where the feeble light fades in the distance and the shadows tumble in like fog sweeping down toward a loch in the Scottish Highlands ... yeah, it's a really big room. Probably will never fill it.BIOBegan with pencil, sculpted in clay, time passed. Honed my rendering skills on POV-Ray for a number of years (modelling with a line editor was a bugger -- but it was free).
My main interest these days is to master two problems: composition and narrativity. My current tools are Poser4 and Vue d'Esprit4 ... I also dabble with Truespace, xfrog and Z-Brush.
My Web site explores different aspects of my ongoing work but I'd rather make pictures than keep it up to date. Feel free to check it out:

Strange, but beautiful. That's a wild texture there. Nice lighting, too.

This is fantastic! Everything from the setup of the room, to the lighting to the story...great job! Will we find out more from this story or is it a one shot? :)

Thanks for your positive reactions. Calseeor, to answer your question, this is indeed part of a story. The first image was "The Interview". This is currently the second image (although I've planned some in between). I've already posted one of the last images in the series, which is "KillZone". I have written the plot to this sotry but am creating the pictures out of sequence (whims of the muses and all that).

I love the Perlova texture. It's Quim's best. I really like the position of the woman, and the "dejected slump" pose. Excellent job on all of it. Linda

Very nice use of shadows and lighting colors!
