Description

OK...what better way to start than on a good bitumen road, the whole trip from the east coast at Townsville to the Northern Territory border middle of nowhere is 1100k's or nearly 700 miles one way...not all roads are sealed and seat belts are optional in some parts. This is just 100 k's into the trip where Macca's signs still let you know your in civilization...you know your not in Kansas anymore Dorothy when you can't see a MacDonalds sign! So enjoy the comfy road while you can....The ariel you see is a CB radio, a definate must out west with the huge road trains that pass you or you them...will show you some later on in the trip! The water like image you see down the road is a heat mirage.....

What an easy 100 k this was for me! I'm really going to enjoy this trip. I'll get to see all the cool stuff without sitting in a car for hours at a time! Excellent! :)
