Description

A very loved childrens author named May Gibbs wrote some wonderful stories about these gumnut babies...These guys grow just about everywhere in Australia, with lots of different species....Everytime I see them, I think of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie the two main characters of May's stories.

Very cool! I've never seen this before. The books sound charming, but I've checked the library here and . . . nothing. Bummer. Anyway - I love the shot! Excellent light, and interesting subject matter. Full view is a trip - such detail and variety! Nice.
