Description

A Tear for Tomorrow is the tear of the universe. It washes away all of the sorrows that one may have. Somewhere in the universe, there is a tear. To date we have not found it but it has been documented in legends of old. This tear is thought to hold the power of the universe within its form. It is thought that this tear can wash away all of the sadness in all life forms. It is somewhat like a holy grail in that it has been spoken of in the legends of all planets but has never been found. Some legends have it that when the universe was created a single tear was shed. This tear was then hidden away from all life so that one day it could be found when it was needed most. Other legends say that this tear was created by the mother of the universe to be used when her children needed her most. This tear would then wash away the pain of the children and bring a new day that was filled with love and joy. However, there is one special legend that is unique. In this legend, it was said that this tear was created and hidden away so that one day it could wash over all of the planets and bring new life to them. What a marvelous legend this is. So why do we want to find this tear? I guess it is because we know that it is there waiting for us. On the other hand, perhaps we just want to reassure ourselves that this tear does exist. Perhaps we want to know that if we make a mess of things, this tear can set it right. Whatever the truth of this tear may be, we know that it holds a special place in our hearts. For one day, when the time is just right, this single tear will wash over the universe and make all as one. What a divine possibility this is and what a divine thought to hold in hearts. Until that time comes, it is our job to hold the presence of all that is and all that will be. Who knows? Perhaps the tear is really us. © Gayle O Created in Apophysis. Upside down-as it should be? (Cant cry about something we nothing about!) for if it were rightside up-it would be a "tear for yesterday" the tears we know of best! Fantastic writeing AND illustration!

How lovely it would be to find this tear to get rid of all the sadness in the world. It is a lovely vivid coloured tear too with the shine of the fallen tears. Excellent work.
