This is beautiful. I love the colours and patterns you used. Please tell us a little about how you created this picture!!

Thanks so much, Firefly! Sorry I didn't respond sooner; there was no ebot telling me a comment had been made. The texture on the hills is the result of a fractal I made in XenoDream and altered in PSP. When I started learning about terrains in Bryce, I realized that the combo would be perfect to depict the karst hills of Guilin, China, a most magical place. I created the fisherman and building in PSP and imported them into Bryce as 2D pix. After rendering in Bryce, I added the lights for the fisherman's lantern and the building's window in PSP. It's a night-time scene because at the time I made it, I hadn't a clue how to do lighting in Bryce. Still don't know much more than this, but Im learning - LOL! I've been trying to learn my three major graphics programs at the same time, and it's quite a challenge. Thanks for looking and for your nice comments.

It's very captivating- You could just go on looking at it. The balance of color is excellent.

Thanks Ron! And Micheleh, knowing how busy you are, I truly appreciate your stopping by and commenting. I'm so glad you like this picture and my use of color. One of the things I love about XD is the ability to use color in a whole different way.
