Description

MONKEYS!! Ahem, yeah so this is one of the better shots of monkeys i took on my trip to the jungle here in Peru about a month ago (i know it took a while for me to post up but at least it is here now). My main problem was that the longest lens i took with me was the Sigma 70-200mm and then that there is surprisingly little light below the canopy - this is around a 2x 'zoom' crop of the orginal and just check out the EXIF readout ;). Anyway, i managed a few decent shots and this is my current favourite. Thanks for stopping by to take a look. Enjoy! Rich

Light in the forest is a big problem... This one is great, the position of the monkey is very interesting and he has a good light.

This is excellent. The way this critter is tucked away and the viewer is peering through the brush to see it. Really wonderful job.

Nicely done, Rich. I think you did very well under the circumstances. We can't all have those giant megaphone lenses...( although I'd love one, lol ).
