Description
Autumn Obsession
Weather changes,
Days get chilly,
Life slows
To waltz time.
Something in me aches
For connection.
Tough to concentrate,
Impossible to work,
All I can think of is
Firelight and conversation.
Alone with an old friend
Or a new lover,
Fall is the time for intimacy,
Sharing confidences,
Focusing inward,
Creating bonds.
After the first frost,
I’ll regain my sanity.
Winter is the cure
For Autumn’s obsession.

Beautiful and profound treatise and ode to the travails of autumn, young lady, but to us down here in perpetually warm and sunny Southern California, our third quarter season is no different than summer, and please, please, Mister Weatherperson, or Mother Nature, bring us some RAIN, not anything torrential or flooding -- Noah's Ark style -- but at least something wet and refreshing! Anyway, nice colors and moody atmospheric effects in this presentation.
