Description

Shoot first, ask questions later. Jim's motto. For all Jim knows, that might be a Ruskie! Lots of layering done on this page. Both in multiple Vue assemblies, rendered seperately and PS filter work. My poor laptop works overtime. (Okay, its an AMD dual 64 bit with 1GB RAM laptop, but it's a laptop none the less) Metaluna mutant made with ZBrush. Wow! what a super application that is!! I love it! Comments are always welcomed! Have a great week!

Thanks for the info about how this was done. Excellent series and artwork. I know that you put a lot into this. I do believe that all of us who read this appreciate that effort. Really excellent work!

I like your placements in this one. The space ship, house and car are all well placed. Love the fireing gun. The wording, story for this page was great. Suggestions???: Give us, as the audience a good looksee at your alien. He or she looks like a sack of potatoes... I like the rings around the cop in the frame where he calls for the army.

The fat lines around the moon and the characters doesn't match well to the style of the preceding pages. (Why a fat black line around the moon? - particularly frame 1) To small faces impede the identifying with the characters. The frame segmentation is well and matches to the point of view! Good expressiveness with three images only! Something more humor would refresh the story. Nevertheless - I like the idea and the execution!

Blam.... blam blam blamm blamblamblamblam.... "got him!" Jim's spent most of his carreer pulling over speeders and harrasing teenagers on Lover's Lane, this is the first time he's ever drawn his gun in the line of duty..... very cool rendition of how humans deal with "other" kinds of people. This series is waaay too much fun!

I triple what 2loose said! Thanks bunches...these are great. I have to disagree with Mickerson though...you gave us a great view of the alien in the previous post. If this was in a comic book format, we would see the alien on the other page. Nice work again....makes me want to get Zbrush :)

Wow! This is turning into an epic work as demonstrated by an impressive array of thumbnail images in your gallery. Interesting to view them in total...to recognize the pattern of storytelling and design decisisons made throughout the boards. Fabulous my friend. Just fabulous.

I too concur with 2loose. Well written, laid out and presented visually, this is series is the most entertainment pixel for pixel that I've seen on this site for a while. As for this page, you get him Jim, send those commies back to their mommies!

i see alotta blood on Jim's hands come Halloween. yea Z-Brush is dope. all that 3D point adjusting is for the birds. Z-Brush doing it Renaissance style with sculpting is the way to go. puttin the "art" back into 3D art. why does this story flow so well? did you take writing classes?

Really top-notch and professional style as all the previous pages. Excellent story too. It really deserves to be published in printed form either in a magazine or in a comic album of its own! The mood reminds me "The eternal war" Joe Haldeman, a great scifi writer who was wounded during the Vietnam war. "The eternal war" was later published as a comic series of several albums drawn by the excellent illustrator Marvano.
