Description
I guess it doesn't actually exist... but if it did... it would almost surely come with some kind of exotic bug attached... ;)
Ultra Fractal with slight sharpening in PSP.
Thank you all SO very much for the wonderful reception you gave to "A Slice of Saffron"... extremely appreciated!!
And thanks for clicking through to have a view at this one!
Hugs!

The Monkey-tail Orchid really does exist.....NOW! Thanks to our talented little 'Mouse ;-) And it can only be seen right here at Renderosity. A very unique and beautiful flower, with a hint of danger. Like it lots!

Bugs is bugs - dangerous. Quiet, unassuming, looking to pass unseen. Then the jump, fangs sink; and the peace becomes PERMANENT. Life depends on death for we all eat to survive. Can there be guilt in the necessary? I like the flower, the composition, of course. That's why I stopped by to view. There is a unity to the composition. Those leaves are right, the petals fine, the insect crawly. Even the checkerboard to the side reflects on the inner heart of the flower. It too ensures an avoidance of an otherwise empty area which might have required different compositional devices. like the title - Monkey-tail indeed. Strange, how often do you get a full quota of zooms when the gain is nil or slight, whilst the availability of a tremendous zoom is so often ignored. This image doesn't actually call for enlarging but sensible caution often prevails.
