Great lighting and composition. Fantastic metallic textures. Beautiful character and pose. Seems that there's nothing in the future for me... they still wear too much clothes. 8-)

IMHO it's perfect - but I know this effect myself, always when I had something else in mind. Anyway: The realism is amazing and the contrast of shiny and dull surfaces plus the skin amazes me!

Love the metal finishes and the flourescent red paint works very well. Haha, love the "sticky beak" euphemism :)

80 hours? What the hell did you have switched on in the renderer? Make sure that stochastic sampling is off and that'll save you 79 hours! The reflections seem nice and everything but not worth nearly four days wait. You should post your render settings in the C4D forum and see how you could reduce this as that's just crazy stuff!

That chrome is SWEET, but don't think I could hack that render time! AWESOME post, Deane!

Damn, 80 hours, my system is lucky to work correctly for 8 hours, let alone do art like this. Love the reflective surfaces, outfit and details. Stunning work...

Gorgeous!!!!!

I'm right there with ya, man! Eighty hours! It's at least worth it to us as a cautionary tale and to you as some sort of completion. That's a lot of ray tracing in those reflections. Look forward to the next one.

Wow, that's alot of chrome! And REAL looking, too! At 80 hours, I'd say, you did it. :) That's alot of texture to capture, especially with all the reflections. Hats off for patience and skills. :)

Hehe over 80 hours, I'd have posted too. In any event I like it regardless, well done!
