but nothing common about their beauty.they are very hard to approach and this is the closest I have got to one.I had to approach ever so slow, as it had already flew once

Excellent photography! Dragonflys are very quick responders to movement and I can imagine they must be very hard to photograph!

Beautiful I haven't saw many of these this summer... Hubby told me I had a hummingbird moth on my flowers last night... I wanted a pic so bad...but was so sick at my stomach just couldn't make it... Hopefully Mr.Moth will be back..and he can be buddies with the damsel in distress... Love the wings they look like stain glass...had to post phone chemo due to being sick...I now go Friday:( Love this and def a fav.... Hugs Susan~
