Description

Thanks for looking ... DAZ|Studio render. Minimal postwork in Photoshop. Created as an entry for the DAZ PA monthly Calendar competition (took second!) "In the Hall of the Goblin King" started as a character piece. I was playing with the "M3 Creatures Combo" morphs and textures and came up with this guy. Skin uses PWSurface shaders with SSS and AO for that Orc-ishness you just can't get anywhere else :) Then it was a matter of presenting him... once I hit on the throne and the strong top light (as if from some window cut into the goblin lair...) the rest pretty much solved itself. Also seen: Notthar Armor, Abraxas and the DAZ Staff pack. All from DAZ. Jewelry is a combination of stuff I had sitting around and basic torus primatives. As always, thanks for your comments - anything that will help me improve is especially valued, but you are welcome to post whatever you like (or don't like lol). Ratings disabled - apologies if this is an inconvience.

Great picture. It looks more like a screen capture from some movie than a single picture. I stood looking at it for a moment and I still have the feeling he will stand and start saying something.
