Description
Captured 8/25/07 during the parade celebrating the 50th birthday anniversary of my city.
The famous birdie in all his mischievous, unpredictable glory. Had to be all his doing because there was no discernable wind at the time. Huh-huh-huh-ha-ha!
The ground crew may have gotten him upright after a while, I never bothered to check. Had to prepare for the next participants coming down the road.
In their defense, they may have lowered him because of upcoming power lines about a block and a half away, but I really believe they just lost control.

poor woody!!! ( a have a funny short friend who is the woody in the suite at universal studios he can do the laugh perfectly- we are always looking for that bird when we go hehe....)

That's the Clay Smith Cams wild woodpecker... You mean someone else used this character before it became a logo? Woody was a Warner Brothers guy, wasn't he? In Looney Tunes, and Merry Melodies at the end of the main feature. We were at Macy's yesterday on our way to Apple.
