Description

Captured 8/25/07 during the parade celebrating the 50th birthday anniversary of my city. Oh yes, this was a prize treat, both Marilyn Monroe (nee Norma Jean Baker) and Lucy Arnaz (Lucille Ball) participating in the parade saluting the birthday of my nondescript, never-heard-of-the-place city. Manna from heaven! I presume that many famous stars, in perpetual need of an ego trip, show up just for the adulation. But I'm not knocking it, I love the excitement, the glamour and the glitter. And it gave me the chance to play paparazzi for a day. Image better viewed full size. Thanks for the visit, and have a nice day.

Gee, Lucy seems to hav put on a few pounds (or does the camera really add pounds like they say) and Marilyn sort of looks a little...well........less endowed here but, hey, what do I know...? I've never met either one like you have so I can't really say for sure, ya know? LOL Really nice shot and good timing to get them facing the same way at the same time.

MrsLubner: Picky, picky, picky! Hey, after all these years, age, gravity, and a slow metabolism take their effect. I have no idea what happened to Marilyn's ample chest, perhaps breast augmentation gone sour, I don't know, she never confided that to me. I can't believe she would ever want to reduce her most attractive feature.
