Description

I think this is a blacktailed skimmer, if I am wrong please tell me. This is the first dragonfly shot I have ever taken. I was so excited about it. I apologise for the weight of the file size, I have tried to reduce it without success. Sun is shining in Bay, I have a busy day ahead. I hope your day is beautiful too. I thank you all for comments and favorites on "Forest Frogs". I am not receiving ebots on favorites, I do not know why not! Have a beautiful day, be happy. Hugs. Diane.

Hey, great job on your first! I have a hard time getting close to these guys but every so often I have luck. Trouble is, I don't have many in my neighborhood and I don't go much further than that in my day. Very nice shot!

Detail is Stunning, the tips of the wings at the lower part of picture are sectioined off like a Stained Glass Window would be with lead. I saw a Brown Dragonfly today but couldn't get it to land long enough, I'v never captured one they are so quick (it could be I'm to slow?) lol.
