Description

Frank Bowles' horse became frightened and threw him off. This caused a rifle to discharge and badly injure his knee. He lay in camp for several weeks without medical attention and when friends took him to a doctor for amputation it was too late. (This information was given by his daughter.) I have many more Boothill shots, but I will only upload 2 more after this. I have some interesting shots of the Bird Cage Theater, but they aren't very good. The lighting inside was bad, there was glare, I didn't have a tripod, etc... and I am still learning... so they could be better. Maybe I'll share a few anyway. Anyway, thank you so much for visiting my gallery, commenting on my last upload, "Boothill Graveyard". Have a Great Weekend~ ~HUGS~

I like your pov here. the fence slats really add to the finality of the graveyard.

Pretty cool. You don't normally see picket fences around individual graves. Great POV and composition. Nice work.

Frank must have been someone special to have rated a picket fence around his rocky grave. Times have drastically changed from those days of barren isolation to cell phones today. Cool POV and great clarity and light/shadow contrasts in this shot.

So sad and so young too. It is a great shot, the light the shade, and texture, plus that lonely fluffy cloud in an amazingly blue sky - guess it was one hot day! xx
