Description
This was taken standing in Boothill. It was such a beautiful day, but HOT! Alas, I was lucky because although it was hot, it was only about 105F, which is a cool-hot for the Arizona Desert... lol.

Can you believe there is an animal that breaks off those cactus pads and eats them? Yup. The javelina. I love this shot because it shows the interesting plants of the desert and I don't have to be there in that sweltering heat to see them.

On a clear day you can see forever. Another fine POV and DOF depicted in this lonesome shot, my friend! I like the combination of the cacti and brush filled landscape contrasted against the partly cloudy blue sky.
